Job Summary

As a Laboratory Technician in Environmental Analysis, you will play a critical role in protecting air quality by analyzing air, dust, and material samples from industrial emissions. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting inorganic and organic chemical analyses using advanced instrumental techniques such as ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and Chromatography. You will be responsible for the maintenance of sophisticated spectroscopic systems, performing plausibility checks on data, and ensuring all documentation complies with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working at the intersection of analytical chemistry and technical environmental protection. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related natural science field; or a comparable qualification such as a State-Certified Chemical Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in classical and instrumental laboratory analytics
  • Experience in handling laboratory and evaluation software such as LIMS or Excel
  • Experience with quality assurance measures including reference standards and proficiency testing
  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of chromatographic and spectroscopic analysis systems
