Job Summary
This leadership position involves the disciplinary and technical management of a department focused on international inspection services within the nuclear technology sector. As the Head of Department, you will be responsible for the full Profit and Loss (P&L) of your cost center, ensuring the economic use of resources and the implementation of corporate strategy. Your daily activities will include overseeing high-stakes international projects, coordinating project managers, and managing relationships with external stakeholders and subcontractors. You will play a pivotal role in evolving the service portfolio and identifying innovations to ensure quality, safety, and sustainability. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in technical project management and strategic leadership. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Multiple years of experience in disciplinary and technical leadership and employee development
- Extensive experience in managing technically demanding projects, preferably in an international environment
- Proven experience with economic management metrics including P&L, budgeting, and controlling
- Professional experience in capacity and resource planning as well as strategic development of technical units
- Experience in managing external clients, subcontractors, and international stakeholders

- Valid Class B driver's license; Willingness to undertake national and international travel; Must ensure risk-appropriate and norm-compliant documentation in coordination with Legal and Compliance Office (LCO).
