Job Summary

Join TÜV SÜD, a global leader in safety, quality, and sustainability, as a Measurement Engineer or Chemical Technical Assistant specializing in emission measurement and air pollution control. In this role, you will undergo comprehensive on-the-job training (6-12 months) to master emission measurement techniques according to §29b BImSchG. Your daily tasks include preparing measurements, sampling pollutants, documenting results, and evaluating data. After training, you will independently manage projects, conduct emission measurements per relevant standards, create measurement plans and test reports, and support customer acquisition. The position requires a degree in environmental engineering, process engineering, or a technical vocational training (e.g., chemical technical assistant, chimney sweep). You should be comfortable with heights and physically fit, as the role involves exciting field assignments in the Baden region, including occasional overnight stays. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in natural sciences or engineering (e.g., environmental engineering, process engineering) or completed vocational training in a technical field (e.g., chemical technical assistant, environmental protection technical assistant, chimney sweep, mechanic).

Experience

  • Professional experience in emission monitoring or emission measurement technology is an advantage
