As a Development Engineer for High-Voltage Charging Technology based in Mannheim, you will play a pivotal role in the automotive industry's transition to e-mobility. Your daily responsibilities involve the realization of high-voltage charging infrastructure and the conceptual development of automotive control units specifically designed for modern electric vehicles. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive technical specifications, managing functional requirements, and coordinating change packages to ensure timely project execution. This role requires a blend of technical design and project coordination, acting as a key link in the development of charging functions. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in high-voltage systems and charging functions for electric vehicles
  • Practical experience with electric vehicle charging processes and relevant charging interfaces/protocols
  • Experience in the conception and development of automotive control units
  • Proven experience in creating technical requirement specifications (Lastenheft)
  • Experience in coordinating and monitoring technical change packages
