As a Test Engineer for High-Voltage Components and Battery Management, you will play a pivotal role in Mannheim's automotive sector, focusing on the validation and optimization of electric vehicle energy systems. Your daily responsibilities include conducting functional tests on battery systems, optimizing high-voltage component configurations to maximize driving range, and supporting real-world test drives. You will be responsible for the entire quality assurance lifecycle, from drafting technical specifications and requirement documents to final product release. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field of study. An additional vocational trade qualification is considered an advantage.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development and application of electronic components, specifically for high-voltage systems
  • Extensive experience in planning, executing, and evaluating technical tests and series
  • Proven track record in requirements management and the organization of energy system specifications
  • Experience in managing and leading projects within the vehicle development sector
  • Practical knowledge of CAN and LIN bus communication protocols and networking
