Job Summary

As a Remote Diagnostics Service Technician, you will provide critical 2nd-level technical support to automotive workshops, tackling complex repair and diagnostic challenges. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing electronic systems, control units, and vehicle diagnostics remotely. You will perform specialized tasks such as parameterization, calibration, and flashing using both Independent Aftermarket (IAM) and Original Equipment (OE) diagnostic tools. This role is unique as it combines deep technical automotive expertise with digital remote support, allowing you to guide workshops through systematic problem-solving and error analysis. The position is ideal for a highly skilled automotive professional who enjoys technical troubleshooting and customer interaction. Required Skills

Education

Master Craftsman in Automotive Engineering (Kfz-Meister) or State-Certified Technician in Vehicle Technology

Experience

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in automotive workshops working with passenger cars and light commercial vehicles
  • Extensive experience in the local automotive aftermarket
  • Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics and the use of modern diagnostic systems
  • Professional experience in direct customer contact, such as order intake or hotline support
