Job Summary

As a Quality Inspector for Metrology, you will be responsible for the selection, validation, and application of inspection methods and measuring equipment at sites in Donauwörth and Manching. Your day-to-day operations involve interpreting geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), creating complex inspection plans, and developing measurement programs for 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMM) using Zeiss CALYPSO and optical systems. You will act as a vital interface between Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, and Quality departments, performing statistical evaluations of measurement results and defining corrective actions based on error analysis.
