Job Summary

This role offers graduates in Energy Engineering or Electrical Engineering the opportunity to work on long-term, innovative projects for Siemens Energy through Akkodis. You will take responsibility for leading studies focused on electrical energy system analysis, grid planning, and network development. Your day-to-day tasks involve simulating electrical energy systems, modeling network components including power electronics, and coordinating with multicultural engineering teams. The position is highly collaborative, requiring interaction with various technical groups and external partners. Beyond technical analysis, you will play a role in business expansion through acquisition and sales activities. You will work on integrating renewable energy plants, storage units, and power electronic devices into AC grids through feasibility and tender studies. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated engineer to work at the forefront of high-voltage technology (HVDC) and FACTS systems within a global engineering leader.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Electronics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience or academic specialization in electrical energy systems and grid analysis
  • Experience in the simulation of energy systems using industry-standard software tools
  • Practical or theoretical experience with medium and high-voltage systems (HVDC) and FACTS
  • Experience in coordinating with technical teams and external suppliers
  • Experience in modeling network components and power electronics
