Job Summary

This role offers a dynamic entry point for graduates to join Akkodis, working on long-term innovative projects for Siemens Energy. You will take on responsibility for project management and technical studies focused on electrical power system analysis, grid planning, and network development. Day-to-day activities involve simulating electrical power systems, modeling network components including power electronics, and coordinating with multicultural engineering teams. You will play a key role in integrating renewable energy sources, storage units, and power electronic devices into AC grids through feasibility and concept studies. Beyond technical analysis, the position involves active participation in sales and acquisition activities to expand the business, as well as coordinating with external partners and suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to work at the forefront of the energy transition, dealing with cutting-edge technologies like HVDC and FACTS systems in a global professional environment.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Power Electronics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience or academic focus in electrical power systems analysis and grid planning
  • Practical experience with power system simulation tools such as PSS/E, PowerFactory, or Matlab/Simulink
  • Experience handling medium and high voltage systems (HVDC) or FACTS systems
  • Experience in coordinating technical teams and external partners in a multicultural environment
  • Experience in technical documentation and communication within a professional engineering context
