This full-time, permanent role with the City of Weener involves managing the lifecycle of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Civil Engineering or Urban Water Management; alternatively, state-certified construction technician with a relevant vocational background.
Experience
- Mandatory experience in the planning and construction management of sewer rehabilitation and civil engineering projects
- Professional experience in urban water management or civil engineering
- Multiple years of practical experience required if applying with a technician qualification instead of a degree
- Experience in applying German procurement and fee regulations (VOB, UVgO, HOAI)
- Experience in public administration or political committee participation is beneficial

- Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to use a private vehicle for official business (reimbursable) are mandatory. Must be eligible for appointment as a Water Protection Officer under § 64 WHG.
