Job Summary
This full-time, permanent role at the Mainz Police Headquarters involves providing comprehensive technical support for an organization responsible for the safety of over 800,000 citizens. You will be the primary point of contact for approximately 1,700 employees, delivering both remote and on-site first-level support. Your daily responsibilities include the commissioning and maintenance of hardware and software, user administration, and system monitoring. You will also play a critical role in IT security, data backup, and documentation of network structures. A unique aspect of this position is the technical support of active police operations. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT system integration or a comparable technical field
- Extensive experience in Windows user administration and file system configuration
- Experience in troubleshooting and solving complex IT problems
- Experience in hardware and software commissioning and maintenance
- Experience in network and server infrastructure basics
