Job Summary

This role within the Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Tourism, and Labor of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern focuses on coordinating significant business relocations and expansions. As a Business Relocation and Expansion Officer, you will be responsible for preparing high-level briefings for ministry leadership regarding company visits, trade fairs, and international trips. Your daily tasks involve coordinating with international partners, preparing investor meetings, and managing committee sessions. You will also play a key role in developing information tools for investors, such as service portals and funding information, while performing business audits of corporate concepts and managing budget items. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape regional economic development and work closely with major economic promotion stakeholders in the state. It is a fixed-term position covering a maternity and parental leave period, offering a professional environment within the state's largest employer.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) or equivalent, preferably in Business, Business Law, or Public Administration; or qualification as a Certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt).

Experience

  • Professional experience in economic promotion or business development
  • Experience in coordinating with international partners and stakeholders
  • Experience in preparing executive-level briefings and investor meetings
