Job Summary
The Hanseatic City of Lüneburg is seeking a dedicated Social Planning Manager to join the Department of Education, Youth, and Social Affairs. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic development of the city's social infrastructure through integrated social planning. Your day-to-day work involves conducting social space and structural analyses, evaluating data regarding poverty-affected neighborhoods, and developing concrete measures to support vulnerable populations. A significant portion of the role focuses on stakeholder engagement, where you will coordinate with administration departments, welfare organizations, and local citizens to foster participation and network cooperation. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Economics or Social Sciences (preferably specializing in Social Planning, Public Management, or Business/Organizational Theory); or qualification for the second entry level of career group 2 in General Administration (e.g., Angestelltenlehrgang II).
Experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience in social planning or public administration
- Experience in organizational development and managing decision-making processes
- Proven experience collaborating with administrative bodies and social service providers
- Experience in project management is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing social-spatial data and statistics
