Job Summary
As a Senior Hardware Developer, you will play a pivotal technical role in the architectural definition and development of complex embedded systems and industrial products. Your daily responsibilities include designing sophisticated analog and digital circuits, creating PCB layouts using professional ECAD tools like Altium Designer, and ensuring seamless integration between hardware, software, and mechanical components. You will lead technical concepts, conduct risk assessments, and oversee the prototyping and commissioning phases, including EMC and environmental testing. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with software engineers, manufacturing partners, and quality assurance teams. The position is particularly attractive due to its high flexibility, offering up to 80% remote work, a 13-month salary structure with profit sharing, and unique perks such as access to a private company mountain hut in Kitzbühel. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in developing complex electronic systems or complete industrial/household products
- Extensive experience in analog and digital electronics development
- Profound experience in PCB design and professional ECAD tools
- Experience with EMC standards, relevant norms, and approval processes
- Experience in technical coordination and interdisciplinary project work
