This role involves the technical and administrative management of specialized software systems within the Foreigners' and Asylum Office of the Mittelsachsen District Office. As an IT Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance and configuration of the LÄMMkom LISSA and SocialCard Navigator systems, ensuring they are updated in accordance with legal changes and software releases. Your daily tasks include troubleshooting program errors, distinguishing between user errors and system bugs, and developing robust control methods to ensure data quality. You will also handle the accounting and booking of granted benefits, creating audit-proof documentation for all tests and inspections. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Management Assistant for Office Communication, Administrative Assistant, IT Specialist, Management Assistant for IT Systems, or equivalent public administration qualification (Angestelltenprüfung I).

Experience

  • Experience in software application support and system maintenance
