This role involves managing the implementation, modification, and expansion of IT systems and infrastructure for district schools and their departments in Mittelsachsen. As a Project Administrator, you will lead specific project phases, conduct functional testing, manage access rights, and integrate new software into the existing system landscape. Your daily tasks include performing system maintenance, updates, and scripting to ensure the functionality of the IT infrastructure. Beyond technical management, you will be responsible for organizing and conducting training sessions for staff. Required Skills

Education

University degree (TU, FH, or BA) with an IT focus (e.g., Business Informatics, Computer Science, Digital Transformation) OR completed vocational training/further education in IT (e.g., IT Specialist, Technical Assistant for Informatics, IT Systems Electronics Technician).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the administration of Windows and Linux systems
  • Experience in managing backup, database, and virtualization technologies
  • Experience in project coordination and implementation of IT systems
  • Experience in network services including VPN and VoIP
  • Practical experience in scripting and system modification
  • Experience in providing technical training and user support
