Job Summary

As a Test and Measurement Equipment Coordinator in Kiel, you will serve as the central point of contact for all departments regarding the application, procurement, and maintenance of testing equipment. Your daily responsibilities include organizing and reviewing external calibration services, ensuring proper equipment labeling, and maintaining detailed documentation within a database. You will develop calibration protocols based on industry standards, conduct regular departmental inspections, and support both internal and external audits. This role is critical for quality assurance, as you will monitor processes until final release, manage the locking of non-compliant equipment, and generate reports to identify optimization and cost-saving potential. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Measurement Technician, Cutting Machine Operator, or Industrial Mechanic). Additional qualifications as a Testing Equipment Representative are advantageous.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the metalworking industry
  • Extensive experience in handling and managing testing and measurement equipment
  • Professional experience as a designated Testing Equipment Representative (Prüfmittelbeauftragter) is highly preferred
  • Experience in creating calibration foundations based on valid standards and guidelines
  • Experience working with SAP and standard IT systems
