Job Summary
As an IT Application Developer in the field of automation technology, you will be responsible for developing object-oriented software solutions using TwinCAT 3 (IEC 61131-3, Structured Text). Your daily routine involves the design, implementation, testing, and error analysis of software for real-world automation systems. You will play a critical role in requirements engineering by documenting technical needs and deriving functional solutions. Furthermore, you will create system and interface specifications and support the commissioning of automation plants through hands-on testing and interdisciplinary collaboration. Required Skills
Education
Degree in (Technical) Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming with IEC 61131-3 (Structured Text)
- Experience in system integration and object-oriented programming in PLC environments
- Professional experience using Git, Jira, and Confluence
- Experience in project execution and commissioning of complex automation systems is preferred
- Experience in the field of military submarines is an advantage but not required
