Job Summary

As a Materials Tester based in Karlskron, you will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of industrial components. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), specifically utilizing Penetrant Testing (PT) methods to identify and evaluate material defects. You will be responsible for documenting measurement results, making final decisions on material usability, and creating or validating procedural instructions. Beyond technical testing, you will also take on a mentorship role by organizing and conducting internal training sessions for NDT trainees. This position is ideal for a quality-focused professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical analysis and process documentation. The role offers the stability of a permanent contract under the DGB/GVP collective agreement, above-tariff remuneration, and the opportunity to work within a highly respected international service provider environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in a relevant industrial field; Qualification as an NDT Inspector Level 1 or 2 in Penetrant Testing (PT) according to EN 4179 or EN 9712.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment
  • Practical experience in performing non-destructive testing (NDT)
  • Experience in documenting and evaluating measurement results
  • Experience in creating and validating testing procedures
