Job Summary
As a Strategic Workforce Planning Officer at BG BAU, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating the organization's staffing structure across various employment categories, including civil servants and salaried employees. Your daily responsibilities will involve overseeing the overall staffing plan, conducting budget planning in coordination with department leadership, and assessing personnel requirements. You will evaluate job descriptions, support organizational reviews, and contribute to business process optimization. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) preferably in Administrative Sciences, Economics, Public Management, or completion of the Administrative Training Course II (Verwaltungslehrgang II).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the public administration service
- Several years of professional experience in workforce planning and staffing management
- Extensive knowledge of personnel law and collective bargaining agreements (BG-AT/TVöD)
- Experience in creating job descriptions and requirement profiles
- Experience in civil service law and remuneration regulations is preferred
- Proven experience in conceptual work and analytical decision-making
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to undertake occasional, planned business trips. The role can be based in Berlin, Hannover, Wuppertal, or Munich. Applicants must be eligible for employment under the German public service collective agreement (BG-AT).
