Job Summary

This role offers a leadership position within the City of Leverkusen's Digitalization Department, where you will spearhead the strategic and operational transformation of public administration. You will be responsible for the city-wide rollout of the Document Management System (DMS), managing the entire lifecycle from roadmap planning and requirements engineering to implementation. As a key advisor to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO), you will help shape the city's e-government strategy and foster inter-municipal cooperation. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy managing interdisciplinary teams and bridging the gap between technical infrastructure and organizational change. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Administrative Science, Economics, Information Science, Social Sciences, or a related field; or completion of Administrative Training II (Verwaltungslehrgang II); or qualification for Career Group 2.1 in the German civil service.

Experience

  • Professional experience in digitalization, change management, or organizational development
  • Practical experience in project and process management
