Job Summary

The City Administration of Leverkusen is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join their Building Management department in a permanent, full-time capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, tendering, and construction management of electrical system renovations and new installations within municipal buildings, covering all phases of the HOAI. You will collaborate with external planners, optimize existing electrical systems, and work alongside other technical building services (TGA) trades to develop energy concepts and economic feasibility studies. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma or Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical engineering field. Foreign degrees require proof of equivalence.

Experience

  • Professional experience in building services engineering (TGA) preferred
  • Experience in planning, tendering, and construction management of electrical systems
  • Practical experience in electrical trades is an advantage
  • Experience with lighting calculation software
  • Proven experience in independent and team-oriented project work

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. Position is based in Leverkusen with the possibility of part-time arrangements if full-day presence is ensured through job sharing.
