Job Summary
The City of Barsinghausen is seeking a dedicated Energy Manager to join its Building Management Office. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, operation, and continuous development of a smart Energy Management System (EMS) to monitor energy consumption across municipal properties. Your day-to-day tasks will include updating energy reports for public buildings and leading various energy-related urban projects. The position requires a technical background in energy or environmental management and the ability to work independently within a collaborative municipal environment. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Energy and Resource Management, Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable field. Alternatively, a degree with additional certification as a Certified Energy Manager.
Experience
- Professional experience in energy management, specifically in implementing construction measures.
- Experience in municipal administration or public sector environments is preferred.
- Proven experience in the application of relevant standards, laws, and procurement regulations.
- Experience in managing and leading energy-related technical projects.
