Job Summary
As a Security Systems Service Technician at BAUER, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and functionality of complex building technologies. Your daily responsibilities include the maintenance, commissioning, and repair of fire alarm systems, intrusion detection systems, video surveillance, and access control systems. You will be responsible for programming and parameterizing hardware from various manufacturers, troubleshooting technical malfunctions, and documenting test protocols. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will transition between office planning and on-site execution. Required Skills
Education
Completed electrical engineering vocational training recognized in Germany (e.g., Electronics Technician for Information and Telecommunications Systems or equivalent).
Experience
- Professional experience in security technology, specifically with fire alarms, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems
- Experience in installing and commissioning electronic security systems
- Proven track record in technical documentation and measurement protocols
- Experience working independently and in a solution-oriented manner within a team environment
Languages
Additional
- Valid passenger car driver's license (Class B) required; participation in a rotating on-call emergency service schedule; must be based in or able to commute to Düsseldorf.
