Job Summary

As a Cyber Security Engineer at Schwarz Digits, you will play a pivotal role in building the technological foundation for digital sovereignty in Europe. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve designing, implementing, and operating central security platforms such as Threat Intelligence and SOAR. You will focus heavily on automation by developing Python scripts and API integrations to streamline Cyber Defense Center processes. Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines, you will ensure scalable and modern infrastructure management. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to work closely with security analysts to translate their needs into technical solutions while evaluating new open-source tools. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science, IT vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in either Python software development or Linux system administration
  • Practical experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Experience in managing scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools
  • Experience in establishing best practices for CI/CD pipelines and performing code reviews
