Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineering Technician (Netzmeister) for Berlin's power grid, you will play a critical role in maintaining, expanding, and modernizing the city's 36,000-kilometer electrical network. Operating within the Medium and Low Voltage Grid Operations department, your daily responsibilities include coordinating personnel deployment based on qualifications, preparing work orders, and scheduling project management tasks. You will be responsible for prioritizing and systematically resolving faults, as well as independently performing switching operations in medium and low voltage systems. This role is highly collaborative, involving the instruction of colleagues and apprentices and performing quality controls on-site. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a State-Certified Technician (Techniker) or Master Craftsman (Meister) in Electrical Engineering, or willingness to complete such training.

Experience
