Job Summary
As a Managing Director at Lebenshilfe Werkstatt GmbH München, you will lead a prominent organization dedicated to the vocational and social rehabilitation of people with disabilities. Working in a dual-leadership model, you will oversee four workshops and two support centers, managing a team of 200 employees and supporting approximately 640 individuals with disabilities. Your daily responsibilities include driving the strategic development of the organization's service mandate, ensuring economic sustainability with an annual turnover of €28 million, and representing the workshops to external partners and funding bodies. This role is unique for its blend of commercial management and social impact, requiring a leader who can balance economic efficiency with a deep commitment to inclusion. You will foster a collaborative environment, navigating complex social laws and rehabilitative frameworks to ensure high-quality participation in the labor market for all participants.
Required Skills
Education
Academic degree in Social Management, Education, or Business Administration, supplemented by relevant additional qualifications in the complementary field (e.g., business training for educators or vice versa).
Experience
- Solid professional and management experience in the field of integration assistance (Eingliederungshilfe)
- Proven experience in commercial management and economic steering of social services
- Experience in strategic organizational development within a social or rehabilitative context
- Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams and managing multi-site operations
- Experience working with funding bodies, committees, and cooperation partners
