Job Summary

As the Team Lead for Public Development with a focus on Construction Execution at Tegel Projekt GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the former Tegel Airport into the 'Urban Tech Republic' and 'Schumacher Quartier.' You will lead a dedicated team of approximately eight professionals, overseeing the technical and disciplinary aspects of large-scale infrastructure development. Your day-to-day involves acting as the client representative, managing the interface between internal teams, external planning offices, construction firms, and public authorities. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from overarching planning and budgeting to risk management and final execution. This role is unique because it offers the chance to shape one of Europe's most significant smart-city projects while working within a stable public sector framework (TVöD). It combines high-level project management with the mission of creating sustainable, liveable urban spaces for the future of Berlin.
