Job Summary

As a Telecommunications Network Technician at Stromnetz Berlin, you will play a vital role in maintaining and modernizing Berlin's 36,000-kilometer power and communication infrastructure. Operating within the Secondary Network Telecommunications Cable division, your primary focus will be translating high-level network planning into actionable installation plans for field teams. You will be responsible for scheduling assembly measures, coordinating between site management and the control center, and ensuring that all technical documentation is accurate and complete. This role is essential for the smooth operation and troubleshooting of fiber optic (LWL) and telecommunications networks. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the city's energy transition while working in a stable, future-proof environment. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician (Staatlich anerkannte/r Techniker/in) in Electrical Engineering or Master Craftsman (Elektromeister/in / Industriemeister/in Elektrotechnik)

Experience

  • Professional experience as a state-certified technician or master craftsman in the electrical field
  • Experience in coordinating assembly measures and field technician scheduling
  • Experience in reviewing and implementing technical network planning
  • Experience in telecommunications or fiber optic network maintenance is preferred
  • Experience in organizational coordination between site management and control centers
