Job Summary

As a Development Engineer for Electromechanical Assemblies at Würth Elektronik ICS, you will play a pivotal role in designing systems that ensure safe, intelligent, and efficient power distribution. Your daily responsibilities involve developing PCB-based Power Distribution Unit (PDU) solutions, which serve as the core for modern commercial vehicles and e-mobility concepts. You will be tasked with creating schematics using ECAD software, specifically Altium Designer, and developing high-current PCB layouts. Collaboration is central to this role, as you will work closely with project engineering, mechanics, and production departments to innovate new design solutions. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in using Altium Designer or comparable ECAD software
  • Practical experience in the design of electromechanical PCB-based systems
  • Experience in power distribution and thermal management technologies
  • Proven track record in creating technical documentation and conducting design reviews
