Job Summary

As a Global Tax Manager at GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the newly formed 'Global Taxes' department. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing all national and international tax matters, including VAT, corporate tax, and transfer pricing. You will act as a strategic partner to sales, HR, and controlling, ensuring tax compliance across international projects and permanent establishments. A significant part of the role involves designing and implementing a Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS) and driving process innovation through SAP digitalization and e-invoicing. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Business Administration, Law, or a comparable qualification with a focus on Taxation. A Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) exam or equivalent additional qualification is an advantage.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in an international tax environment, either within industry or a Big Four firm
  • Comprehensive knowledge of German tax law and international tax issues, particularly within the EU/Europe
  • Experience in the conceptualization and implementation of tax compliance systems
  • Initial leadership experience is desirable, or the demonstrated potential to lead and build a team
  • Proven track record in managing tax audits and communicating with financial authorities
