Job Summary
As a Technical Lead PLC Programmer at REEL GmbH, you will spearhead a specialized team of automation technicians and programmers within the aeronautics sector, primarily supporting Airbus and other industrial clients in Hamburg. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve a blend of leadership and hands-on technical execution, including the development of control concepts, PLC programming using Siemens TIA Portal and SIMATIC S7, and the optimization of modern drive systems. You will play a critical role in the commissioning phase, overseeing on-site functional tests, acceptance measurements, and safety compliance. This position is particularly attractive for experienced automation professionals looking to transition into a leadership role while remaining deeply involved in complex engineering projects. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a certified Technician qualification in a related field.
Experience
- 5–6 years of professional experience in PLC programming and automation technology
- Professional experience in plant engineering (Anlagenbau)
- Proven experience in the parameterization and integration of drive systems
- Initial leadership experience in managing automation technicians is preferred
- Professional experience in creating test plans and performing on-site commissioning
