Job Summary

This role is part of the EU-funded 'ProWild' research project at the Institute for Sugar Beet Research in Göttingen, focusing on sustainable crop production. As a laboratory professional, you will work within the Phytopathology department to support applied entomology and plant virology research. Your daily responsibilities include performing molecular biological techniques, conducting vector inoculation of plant diseases, and utilizing quantitative detection methods. You will be responsible for meticulous data collection and documentation of experimental results. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Practical experience in molecular plant virology and entomology is preferred
  • Experience in digital data management and documentation
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a scientific team
