Job Summary

This is a prestigious six-year academic leadership position at the University of Göttingen, specifically focused on the field of 'Ecological Novelty'. As a Junior Research Group Leader, you will spearhead an internationally recognized research program addressing global challenges such as climate change, land-use shifts, and ecosystem resilience. Your daily responsibilities include conducting high-level research, securing collaborative funding, and managing an independent budget. You will also lead a small team, including a part-time researcher (TV-L E13, 50%), while contributing to the university's renowned BSc and MSc programs in Biodiversity and Ecology. Required Skills

Education

Doctoral degree (PhD) in Biology, Ecology, Conservation, or a related scientific field.
