Job Summary

This leadership role involves overseeing a division of 20 professionals, including engineers and technicians, focused on heating, ventilation, and sanitary systems (HVAC) as well as energy management. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, prioritization, and execution of maintenance, renovation, and new construction projects across a portfolio of over 800 buildings. Key responsibilities include managing the division's budget, ensuring compliance with public procurement regulations (VOB, HOAI), and implementing sustainable energy concepts to minimize greenhouse gas emissions. The position is unique for its blend of high-level strategic decision-making, personnel management, and technical oversight within a large-scale public real estate framework. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master, Diploma, or Bachelor) in Supply Engineering, HVAC, Energy Data Management, or a related technical field.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in HVAC or energy data management for candidates with a Master's/Diploma degree
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in the relevant fields for candidates with a Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership or management roles
  • Proven experience in modern leadership methods and personnel development
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale building maintenance and renovation projects
  • Practical experience with German construction and fee regulations (VOB, HOAI)
