Job Summary

This role involves the strategic coordination and implementation of railway station development programs within the Federal Ministry for Transport. As a Policy Advisor, you will be responsible for managing funding initiatives aimed at increasing the attractiveness and accessibility of German railway stations. Your day-to-day work includes overseeing the 'Funding Initiative for Attractiveness and Accessibility' (FABB) and managing relief package measures until their completion. You will play a key role in evolving existing station programs into a unified future vision for German rail infrastructure. The position is ideal for professionals with a background in public administration or economics who wish to shape sustainable mobility. Required Skills

Education

Career qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service OR a completed university degree (Master or Diploma) in Economics, Administrative Sciences, or a related field with equivalent skills.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the administration and management of budgetary titles and public funds
  • Proven experience in the implementation of infrastructure or transport-related funding programs
  • Experience in coordinating complex projects within a departmental or governmental setting
  • Background in managing accessibility or modernization initiatives for public transport
