Job Summary
As the IT Repair Workshop Team Lead, you will take on both disciplinary and technical leadership of a specialized hardware repair team. Your daily responsibilities include capacity planning, ensuring smooth daily operations, and guaranteeing that IT hardware repairs meet strict quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs). You will be responsible for optimizing repair processes, managing material requirements, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput times and error rates. Beyond operational management, you will foster a learning-oriented team culture and serve as a technical point of contact for customers during escalations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys process improvement and personnel development within a large-scale technology partner environment. The position offers significant stability with a permanent contract, flexible working models, and a modern work culture that prioritizes results over formal dress codes.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training in an IT environment or a comparable qualification; advanced certifications such as Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) are preferred.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in an IT repair environment
- Proven experience in leadership or team management, ideally within a technical workshop setting
- Professional experience in the analysis, diagnosis, and repair of IT hardware
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and ticketing system architectures
- Demonstrated experience in process analysis and implementing sustainable improvement measures

- Permanent full-time contract. Role requires a hands-on mentality and the ability to manage on-site workshop operations while coordinating with remote or adjacent departments.
