Job Summary
As an Information Electronics Technician at HCR, you will be a vital part of a 20-person workshop team responsible for the maintenance of a modern fleet of 74 buses serving the Herne, Castrop-Rauxel, Bochum, and Dortmund areas. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the independent diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of complex vehicle communication systems, including passenger information displays, TETRA digital radio modules, video surveillance systems, and ticket printers. You will also manage stationary passenger information systems and video protection units outside the depot. This role is highly technical, involving the installation and decommissioning of telecommunications components and participation in technical working groups for vehicle procurement. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Information Electronics Technician, Systems Electronics Technician, Electrician, Electrical Installer, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Initial professional experience in the field of information technology systems, ideally within vehicle telecommunications or workshop environments
- Experience in independent fault diagnosis and maintenance of electronic components
- Experience in interdisciplinary teamwork and organizational management
