Job Summary

As the Head of Signaling Technology for Cologne’s public transport provider, you will serve as the strategic and operational leader for the control and safety systems that form the backbone of the city's transit network. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing a multidisciplinary team, overseeing the planning, construction, and maintenance of signaling systems in compliance with BOStrab regulations, and ensuring maximum operational safety and economic efficiency. You will drive the digital transformation of the department while managing investment budgets and personnel development. This role is unique because it combines high-level technical excellence with significant leadership responsibility, allowing you to directly impact the sustainability and climate protection goals of a major metropolitan area. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering; alternatively, a certified Technician in Electrical Engineering with extensive experience in control and safety technology.
