As a Lead IT Specialist for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), you will take on the technical leadership and mentoring of a dedicated development team. Your daily responsibilities include designing, documenting, and evolving a scalable, modular MES software architecture based on modern principles. You will ensure system stability and performance through structured code reviews and automated testing strategies while developing critical interfaces between MES, ERP, and SCADA systems. A unique aspect of this role is the responsibility for driving a holistic AI strategy across the entire DevOps cycle to enhance development efficiency and automation. Working closely with Product Owners, you will evaluate emerging technological trends to keep the production landscape future-proof. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the architecture and development of MES solutions
- Professional experience in technical leadership or initial management roles
- Proven track record in applying AI throughout the DevOps lifecycle for automation and quality assurance
- Extensive experience in industrial manufacturing processes and system integration
- Demonstrated experience working within agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban
