Job Summary
The City of Blieskastel is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join their Wastewater Department within the Construction and Planning Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical assessment of wastewater infrastructure, identifying damages, and processing drainage applications during the permit phase. Your daily activities will include monitoring property drainage systems, conducting pressure tests, and providing expert advice to citizens regarding flood protection and drainage. Additionally, you will handle the supervision, instruction, and billing of maintenance measures and annual contract partners for the city's sewer network. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed training as a certified Civil Engineering Technician (Bautechniker). Candidates completing their training within the current year are also eligible to apply.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering or wastewater technology
- Experience in technical assessment and damage identification of infrastructure
- Experience in construction monitoring and contractor supervision
- Experience in processing permit applications or public administration procedures

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Position is based in Blieskastel, Germany. Employment is subject to the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD Pay Group 9a).
