This role involves the conceptual development and strategic implementation of a 'Place-Branding' approach for the Vorpommern-Greifswald district. As a Project Manager, you will lead the 'Brand4Talents' Interreg project, aimed at positioning the region as an attractive location for living, working, and investing to counteract the migration of young professionals. Key responsibilities include the strategic design of a district-specific app for talent recruitment, establishing multi-sectoral governance structures to link economy, education, and administration, and coordinating with international project partners in English. You will also manage procurement processes for app development and represent the district at transnational meetings. This position offers a high degree of flexibility with mobile work options and a 30-hour work week, making it ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance in a scenic coastal region. It is a fixed-term appointment until January 31, 2028, within the Department for District Development, Construction, and Environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Administrative Sciences, Regional Development, Economics, Public Management, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management is required
  • Experience in regional development, public management, or administration
  • Experience in international coordination and transnational partnership management
  • Experience in managing procurement processes and external service providers
