Job Summary

This role involves leading the digital transformation of schools within the Vorpommern-Greifswald district. As an IT Coordinator, you will be responsible for the operative implementation of digitalization strategies, managing contracts, projects, and measures for the entire school IT infrastructure. You will act as a vital interface between school administrations, educational institutions, and IT service providers, ensuring that IT measures are prioritized and executed effectively. The day-to-day work includes controlling IT budgets, service design, and ensuring the technical evolution of the school environment. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Public Administration (Diplomverwaltungswirt/Bachelor of Laws), Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/AL II), or a University degree in Economics/Business Administration with relevant IT experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in information technology or a related field
  • Experience in IT coordination or digitalization projects
  • Experience in IT controlling and economic efficiency assessments
  • Experience in public administration or working with legal frameworks like the Municipal Constitution
  • Experience in stakeholder management and negotiation
