Job Summary
This role focuses on the planning, implementation, and management of complex network infrastructures with a strong emphasis on Enterprise and WLAN solutions. As a Network Engineer, you will handle the full project lifecycle, from providing technical expertise during the presales phase to hands-on configuration and commissioning in postsales. You will work extensively with industry-leading hardware from vendors like HPE Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, and Cisco, while also driving network automation through modern tools. Beyond technical execution, you will act as a consultant for clients, ensuring their network solutions are sustainable and high-performing. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of technical problem-solving, client interaction, and continuous learning. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, a flexible working environment, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like Ekahau for WLAN planning and Ansible for automation.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable IT-related vocational training. Career changers with relevant skills are also welcome.
Experience
- Professional experience in network engineering focusing on routing, switching, and firewalls
- Practical experience in planning and implementing WLAN projects
- Experience in technical customer consulting and solution design
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Python, or NetBox is preferred
- Experience working with vendor-specific hardware (Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, or Cisco)

- Must be currently based in Germany. Willingness to travel up to 40%. Requires advanced B2 Business-level German for team and client collaboration.
