Job Summary
This role involves actively shaping the digitalization of military capabilities within the Cyber and Information Space. As a (Senior) Project Consultant, you will be responsible for developing technical contributions for reference and IT security architectures specifically for cloud technology implementation. Your day-to-day tasks include formulating requirements for component and service suppliers, analyzing IT system architectures for high-availability requirements, and evaluating technical reports. You will also investigate automated testing, validation, and verification steps for complex solutions. This position is ideal for professionals interested in national and international security environments, working on complex networked systems to address hybrid threats. It offers a unique opportunity to act as a technical service provider for the armed forces and security-related organizations, ensuring the successful realization of future-oriented defense solutions.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Engineering, specifically in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Technical Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering, information technology, or technical computer science
- Extensive experience in managing complex hardware, software, and network environments
- Proven track record in the setup and configuration of IT security devices and underlying specifications
- Experience in implementing remote connections and network coupling for diverse communication systems
- Experience working with German Federal Office (Bundeswehr) or NATO regulations and procedures is preferred
