This role is based within the Clinic for Visceral, Transplantation, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery, supporting the research group of Prof. Dr. Daniel Seehofer. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a biobank, including the collection and documentation of human liver, tumor, and serum samples. A significant portion of the role involves laboratory work, specifically isolating primary human liver and hepatoma cells and characterizing them using molecular biological and biochemical methods. You will also manage laboratory routine tasks such as preparing media and buffers and handling the procurement of chemicals and consumables.
