Job Summary
The Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, one of Germany's most prestigious film and media schools, is seeking an IT System Engineer to manage its complex infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of IT systems with a focus on Hammerspace and Windows client management. Your daily tasks will involve managing Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policies, as well as overseeing MDM solutions like Baramundi or JAMF. You will also provide 2nd-level support to students and staff, handle hardware procurement, and conduct IT training sessions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a creative, high-tech environment with a focus on virtualization and VDI. The role is initially fixed-term for two years with a strong option for permanent employment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in Information Technology or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in Windows Client and Active Directory administration
- Practical experience with DNS, GPOs, and networking fundamentals
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Baramundi or JAMF
- Experience with virtualization and VDI environments (e.g., Citrix) is preferred
- Proven experience in providing technical support and consulting to users

- The position is full-time (39.5 hours/week) located in Ludwigsburg. Initial contract is fixed-term for two years starting May 1, 2026, with a potential transition to permanent status. Salary is based on the TV-L (Tarifvertrag der Länder) public service scale.
