Job Summary

This role is based at the Technical Center for Protective and Special Technologies in Schneizlreuth, where you will be responsible for the conceptual design and implementation of measurement systems for various experimental setups and test benches. Your daily tasks involve positioning sensors, connecting optical measurement technology to data acquisition systems, and creating specialized software setups for functional testing and error detection. You will perform short-term evaluations of measurement signals, converting them into physical values using calibration data. Beyond technical execution, you will oversee market surveys for short-term dynamic measurement technology and manage external calibration services. This position offers a secure public service contract (TVöD E 9a) with a family-friendly environment, health programs, and opportunities for professional development. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician plus a Master Craftsman's Certificate (Meisterbrief) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field (e.g., Telecommunications, Measurement, or Systems Technology).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience using MS Office applications
  • Several years of experience in the design and construction of complex electrotechnical setups such as control cabinets
  • Professional experience in occupational and system protection
  • Experience with various measurement sensors and systematic troubleshooting using testing equipment
  • Experience in creating measurement setups using specialized software
