Job Summary
This role involves the technical commissioning and software adaptation of specialized road-rail vehicles and shunting technology at ZAGRO's headquarters and on-site. As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of system activation, including performing functional tests, I/O checks, and safety inspections. You will analyze customer requirements to create individual software adjustments and troubleshoot technical issues directly within the PLC programs. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of software development and hands-on hardware interaction. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training with further qualification as a Technician, or a University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the commissioning of automation systems and vehicle technology
- Extensive experience in PLC programming and software adjustment
- Practical experience with CODESYS and C/C++ programming languages
- Experience in conducting safety inspections and system acceptance tests

Additional
- Willingness to perform on-site commissioning at customer locations; full-time availability for a permanent (unbefristet) contract; location-based in Bad Rappenau-Grombach.
