As a Lab Automation Specialist based in Ludwigshafen, you will play a critical role in the Bioanalytics Operations department for a leading pharmaceutical client. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the technical management of laboratory automation systems, specifically planning and executing bioanalytical methods such as ligand binding assays and ECL technology for protein quantification. You will be responsible for integrating new methods into existing automated workflows, managing laboratory schedules, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) or a university degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in laboratory automation including barcode usage and computer-controlled systems
  • Practical experience in quantitative or qualitative determination of protein concentrations in biological matrices
  • Experience in creating and maintaining GLP/GCP compliant documentation
  • Experience with bioanalytical IT systems such as LIMS or ELN is preferred
  • Experience in operating Hamilton or Tecan liquid handling robots is highly desirable
